Sister O (aka Nancy Mauro-Flude) is a show girl and tactile media artist. She plays a mongrel of styles – mostly described as a bluesy tapestry of electronica, vaudville & breakcore, collision of electronic/pop glitches/samples and riot girl punkrock. She works with a radio mike, loop station and powerbook; her act is half way between a live show and a set. She is also a dance theatre artist, online performer via translocal video streams, writer – guest blogger for INC events, and radio [currently radio Patapoe]. Her work is broadcast/performed/exibited in Europe, South America and Australi-asia. Formerly known as 'sgballerina' in Toydeath (an Australian band that modified toys and 8-bit glitchery colourful instruments), and in Amsterdam girl punk band La Coliere Sale.
